Analogies are a great way to identify and make connections between things. They are taught first in Language Arts, but they may be used in not only every subject in school, but in our life relationships.

Field Trip Information( River Center Mall)

Parents and Students,

The field trip that was scheduled for yesterday has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, January 22, 2013.  I just wanted to let parents know that the trip was not completely cancelled, and it will still take place.  We are still going to River Center Mall for an all-day field trip. If anyone has any questions, feel free to comment on my blog or contact me by phone.

Here is a breakdown of the field trip:

1. For Math: there will be a Geometry scavenger hunt which will apply the concepts studied in class.

2. For English: we will be discussing various persuasive messages in the mall.

3. For Science: there will be an energy transfer scavenger hunt that will apply the energy concepts we studied in the last unit.
